Do you want to get involved in the biggest women's team sport in England. Currently there are over three million female players actively involved in playing football.

In Dorset we currently have 21 teams affiliated to play, so no matter what your ability or your age pick up a ball and join the many others who enjoy getting active.

Women's Football FAQ's

Women’s football is open to anyone aged 16 and older and in Dorset we now have a recreational division for women who may be new to the game or returning to it. Games are roughly once per month with teams training weekly. Please visit England Football to explore opportunities near you.

In Dorset we have the Dorset Women’s League offering weekly women’s football fixtures from September – May each season. Please use the Find Football search bar below or contact development@dorsetfa.com for further information.

COACHING – Support the development of exceptional coaches at every level of the game who are representative of our society.

REFEREEING – Ensure that every female referee afforded high-quality bespoke learning and development opportunities from grassroots through to the elite game.
