Join us on the Kids Pitch a page dedicated to all kids involved in football.

Come and play on the pitch and join in the fun competitions for your chance to win some great prizes. Football is about having fun with your mates but we can also offer you support and guidance on issues that you sometimes may find difficult to talk about. 

Youth Focus

Our youth focus this month is a Q&A session with Lucy White who is a member of the U16 Dorset Advanced Coaching Centre.

Which team do you support?

Liverpool 

Who is your favourite player/role model?

David Silva, even though he plays for Man City! I also look up to Pele.

What position do you play?

Number 10

What is your pre-match meal?

Past with tomato sauce, cheese and peppers. 

What is your biggest achievement in football so far?

Going to the England U15 Camp at St George's Park.

In football where do you see yourself in five years’ time?

I'll be 19 so i want to be playing for a professional club, getting good game time.

Do you volunteer at your club?

No I don't volunteer at my club, but i do sports leaders at school (coaching primary school children).

What do you do outside of football?

I play tennis once a week, go swimming for fun and enjoy watching Netflix.

What is your favourite film/tv programme?

My favourite TV programmes are I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! And Match of the Day.

KIDS Pitch Christmas Quiz

Take part in our Christmas Quiz for the chance to win a football shirt of your choice. All entries must be in by Sunday 5th January 2020. A winner will be drawn at random from entries submitted with all questions answered correctly. Competition is open to under 18’s only (as of competition closing date). Entries will only be accepted from those participants that reside in Dorset or are affiliated to a Dorset FA Club.

If you are involved in football it is important to you know your rights, what you can do and who you can speak too.

Why do You Take Part in Football?


Here are some of the latest reasons of why children and young people take part in football:

Space Youth Project

Space Youth Project runs regular youth groups all across Dorset, in Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester, Weymouth, and Sherborne, for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and questioning young people.
