YOUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Discipline and Sanctions FAQ's

Yes. Suspensions for red cards or totting up of yellow cards only affect the category you were playing in at the time (Saturday, Sunday, Midweek, Veterans or Representative).

Any automatic suspension from a sending off or accumulation of 5/10/15 yellow cards now starts 7 days after the offence (i.e. if you are sent off on the Saturday your suspension will start the following Saturday).

Unlike normal suspensions, misconduct suspensions start 3 days after the hearing. The suspension will be from all categories of football, not just the category you were playing in at the time.

Where a reported incident doesn't come under a normal sending off offence (e.g. abusinve language towards a referee after having been sent off) or is a serious offence (e.g. assault causing injury), a misconduct charge will be issued. You have the option of pleading guilty or not guilty as well as whether you want to ask for a personal hearing or not.
