With sessions taking place every Saturday morning from 9.00 - 10.00am at The Blandford School, The County Ground, Hamworthy and Guys Marsh, Shafesbury so far 64 girls have joined in with new girls coming along every week.

The sessions are all about the girls having fun, making friends and enjoying being active alongside other girls. The coaches and volunteers delivering the sessions have received training from The FA to make sure the sessions focus on the enjoyment of the girls in a safe football environment. Supported by The FA Skills Coaches, the Wildcats Clubs are also about getting parents involved alongside the girls' sessions, with a number of parents already indicating they are keen to help out.

The longer term aim of the Wildcats Clubs is to offer girls the opportunity to play club football if that's something they're keen to do so Dorset FA are working closely with the clubs (Blandford United Youth, Poole Town Youth & Shaftesbury Rockies) delivering the Wildcats Clubs to support them to create long term opportunities for the girls within their club environment.
