Meet our Youth Leadership Team
Savannah Berry - Chair
Hi! My name is Savannah and I'm the chair of Dorset FA Youth Leadership Group. I got into the Youth Leadership Group through my role as Football Futures coordinator with Longfleet. I believe youth engagement is all about young people having a say in decisions and practices that directly affect them and their communities. This is the aim of our Youth Leadership Group - to give the youth involved in Dorset football a voice and ownership over the things that affect them and their football experience.
I hope to educate people about the Youth Leadership Group and our work, inspire young people to get involved in more aspects of football than just playing, and ensure that youth players in Dorset have a place where their views are respected, heard, and acted upon.
Please feel free to email, text or call me on sberry.longfleetyfc@gmail.com or 07736798408 for more information about the Youth Leadership Group or for a chat about how to get involved!
Ryan Stiggants - Vice chair
My name is Ryan, I am the Vice-Chair of the Dorset Youth Leadership Group. Over the last 5 years I have been involved with Dexter Sports YFC and currently hold the positions of Club Secretary and Under 14s Manager. Since being involved with the club we have grown from having less than 10 teams to having 30 teams and over 300 players.
I am also the Club Secretary of BRS who play in the Junior Premier League and HPL. The prospects of BRS make it an exciting time to be involved.
My aim within the youth council is to help with development of coaches both youth and newly qualified. I am looking to support coaches to make sure the thousands of players in the Dorset area are receiving the best possible training and development.

Will Triffitt
Over the last 10 years, I’ve been involved in football indifferent forms. I played for local youth teamsbefore becoming a referee in 2015. Now I’m entering my 7th full season and willbe mainly officiating as a Level 5 Senior County Referee in the Dorset PremierLeague, as well as assisting on the Wessex and Western Leagues. I’ve had muchmore success as a referee than a player, being involved in various County CupFinals on numerous occasions. My aim is to help make football in Dorset a placewhere young referees can enjoy the games, thrive, and reach their potential.
We are looking to add more members to the 2022/23 Dorset FA Youth Leadership Group.
We are looking for young people between the ages of 16-25 from all over the County to represent children and young people and to help shape and develop football in Dorset.
Our current vision is to support and empower a diverse workforce of young people to influence change through football.
The Dorset FA Youth Leadership Group projects will impact on The FA National Game Strategy; provide a platform for young people to support the development of grassroots football and build a network of children and young people in Dorset.

All roles with Dorset FA Youth Leadership Group are voluntary.
