Reasons to Volunteer

Football in Dorset wouldn't exist without the thousands of volunteers who give up their time each and every week to support the grassroots game.

A football club or league is about more than just the players on the pitch. Here's just some of the benefits from becoming a football volunteer:

Gain experience
Personal development
Chance to meet new people
Give back to your local community

There are many different roles involved in making football happen at grassroots clubs. Check out our Volunteer Roles page for more information.

Most volunteer roles in football clubs can be done without any qualifications or experience. However, some roles may require you to undertake certain training in addition to safeguarding checks.

Check out our Volunteering Opportunities page for the latest clubs that are seeking help
