Referee registration with Dorset FA

From 1^st June 2022, referees in Dorset  are able to re-register for the following season.

Any referees that registered last season, including all new referees, should now be able to access The FA’s Whole Game System (WGS) to re-register for upcoming season.

We urge all referees to use this system to re-register online, as WGS is also the new on-line process to submit misconduct reports to the County FA.

Requirements for referee registration

To register as an FA referee you must have in place at the point of registration, an in date FA Safeguarding Children Qualification.

It is also a requirement to have an in date FA DBS check at all times, if you intend to referee Under 18 football or to officiate on competitions with Under 18 referees.

All DCFA observers and mentors must have in date FA Safeguarding Children and FA DBS, to be used as observers or mentors, and these must be continually in date.
