If you're looking to get involved in Mini-Soccer, either as a coach or parent, here are some useful things for you to know:

  • Mini Soccer is for teams from Under 7 to Under 10
  • Run by dedicated volunteers, Mini-Soccer is played within organised leagues
  • Fixtures are played on a weekly basis on Sundays
  • Games are played either 5 v 5 or 7 v 7 to allow increased touches on the ball for players
  • The pitch sizes differ according to the age groups of the players

MINI SOCCER HANDBOOKS

The FA Mini-Soccer Handbook for season 2024/25 can be downloaded below.

Please note, there are some important rule changes for the new season. Traditional throw-ins will no longer take place (replaced by a pass or dribble-in) and there will be no deliberate heading for U7s up to and including U9s.
