Dorset FA Groundsperson Of The Year Awards 2024

Nominations are now open for the Dorset FA Groundsperson of the Year 2024

The Dorset County Football Association are pleased to once again be teaming up with Fleet Line Markers to bring you the Dorset FA Groundsperson of the Year Awards.

The awards are open to all Dorset FA affiliated clubs, that operate at Step 7 and below of the football pyramid and look to recognise the contribution of those unsung heroes of the grassroots game and encourage the development of groundsmanship.

The majority of football in this country is played outside the Football League. Quality pitches are therefore essential for the development of football at every level. Grassroots groundspeople, the vast majority of whom are volunteers, play a huge role in ensuring pitches are in their best possible condition, week in, week out. This Award is set up to recognise the contribution of these ‘unsung heroes’, who work in all weather, all year round, to make sure that thousands of matches can take place on a high standard of playing surface.

Enter your Groundsperson into the 2024 Groundsperson of the Year Awards for your chance to win some exciting prizes:

1st Prize: Kombi Line Marker and 2 Drums of Super C paint

2nd Prize: 2 Drums of Super C paint

3rd Prize: 1 Drum of Pitchmarker C paint
