Dorset County FA is looking to appoint an Independent Non-Executive Director to fill an existing vacancy on the Board of Directors.
The Dorset County Football Association was formed in 1887 and became a Company Limited by Guarantee in 1999. It is one of 47 County FAs in England who all contribute to the Grassroots Strategy of The Football Association.
This is an exciting time as we look to deliver our Business Plan and Operational Plan for the 2021-2024 seasons. We were only the second County FA to achieve compliance with the FA Code of Governance and look forward to maintaining those standards ahead of re-assessment in 2024. Additionally we have welcomed a new CEO to the Board.
The Association provides football opportunities, whether in playing, administration, refereeing or coaching, for anyone who wishes to take part regardless of gender, ethnicity or disability.
Our priorities going forward are to maintain our 900+ teams, remain in a sound financial position and develop the support roles that enable everyone to participate in our beautiful game of football.
