The FA Futsal Cup is back!

Dorset County FA are proud to announce that once again we are holding a local qualifying competition for the national FA Futsal Cup and this year it’s bigger than ever.

As in previous seasons, there will be categories for both boys’ and girls’ youth teams at a number of age groups, providing hundreds of children with the opportunity to access the sport.  In addition, this year we will be running both an adult male and an adult female competition, giving senior players the chance to experience futsal and progress through the rounds to try and reach the national final.  Finally, we are also working to deliver a school competition pathway for pupils to take part in, whether they play for a club or not.

Further details on each of these competitions can be found by clicking on the relevant tab below.

FA Youth Futsal Cup

This competition is for youth teams at affiliated clubs and contains 8 different categories, consisting of both boys’ and girls’ strands for each of the following 2-year age brackets: U10, U12, U14 and U16.

For the boys’ categories this season, the competition will include two independent heats, split geographically, with two teams from each progressing to a county final to vie for a spot at the regional stage of the FA Youth Futsal Cup.  Progression to the regional stage may be determined directly from the heats if there are not enough entries in any category.  The girls’ competition for 2019/20 will consist of a single, larger county final that will determine progression to the next stage of the FA Youth Futsal Cup.  Please note that spaces at all events are limited to a maximum of six teams in each category.  The dates and locations of each of these events are:
