Dorset Fantasy Football League November Winner

November just about squeezed in four gameweeks for the first time since August, resulting in bumper points haul for this month’s winners, Wimborne Town FC Women. A fourth entry into this season’s £100 kit voucher draw sees them continue their dominance in the DFFL. Three consecutive 73 point weeks utilising their favoured 1-3-4-3 system set them up strongly before an injury to Tammy Abraham forced them a change to 1-3-5-2 in the final gameweek of the month.   

Wimborne Town FC Women are a newly established team for the 2019/20 season, competing in the Dorset Women’s League. They pride themselves on their core values of unity, togetherness and enjoyment, boasting a squad that ranges in age from 17 to 48 and includes players who are brand new to the game as well as some experienced heads who’ve played at a higher level. In November the team achieved a respectable 3-3 draw against an unbeaten Redlands Rebels Ladies, as well as making their debut in the Dorset Cup.
