DORSET FA TO HOLD THEIR FIRST FEMALE REFEREEING COURSE in december

 

Have you ever thought about getting into Refereeing?

Dorset County Football Association will be holding their first female refereeing course on Saturday 8th December & Sunday 9th December 2018.

This course is an excellent opportunity for female referee candidates to qualify and enter the FA female referee pathway. The FA referees’ Course provides the necessary skills to be able to officiate at grass roots level. The course will introduce the learner to the Laws of Association Football and their application delivered through practical and theory elements.

 

Where Will The Course Be Held?

The course will be held at The Blandford School, and will run from 10am until 4.00pm on both days.

How Much Will The Course Cost?

The cost of the referee course is £100. Candidates will also be required to complete a Safeguarding Children Workshop at £30 and have an FA CRB check at £10.  

Bursaries are available for the referee element of the course of 50%. Please contact Kevin Pike for for further information on the bursaries available.

 

Dorset Women In Refereeing

Jade Wardle (pictured above) commenced her refereeing career with Dorset FA and has worked through the promotion system. 

Last season Jade was appointed to the FA U16 Girls Final – Manchester City v Reading, and England v Wales U15’s at St Georges Park.
