Dorset County Football Association Further Education and Higher Education Girls’ Festival

On Wednesday 10th October Dorset County Football Association held the first in a series of football festivals for girls in further or higher education at the Specsavers County Ground.

The event consisted of a competitive 7-a-side round robin tournament between the three teams in attendance, with a parallel coaching session for those teams not currently playing.  

While congratulations go to Poole High School for winning the tournament, we’d also like to thank Gryphon School and Queen Elizabeth School for taking part and making the festival so enjoyable.  A special mention should also be made for the RELAYS volunteers from Bournemouth University who did a fantastic job helping to deliver the event. 

We hope to see all of the teams again at the next festival on November 21st at the Specsavers County Ground, along with any other girls’ teams in further or higher education.
