The Dorset Youth Cup Finals were held over two days on Sunday 22nd April and Sunday 6th May 2018 at the Dorset FA County Ground in Hamworthy, Poole.

Dorset Under 10 Youth Cup Final
Dorchester Town Youth (Magpies) (0) v Redlands (Rebels) (2)

Two second half goals were enough to win the Jack Bale Cup for Redlands Rebels in what was a very evenly contested match. Dorchester Town Youth hit the bar in the tenth minute, but goals from Tom Kinsey and Harvey Davies sealed the Cup for Redlands.

Portland United Youth (Sports) (2) v Poole Town FC Wessex (1)
(Brinley Doyle 2) (Harry Silsbury)
In the Under 13 Youth Final, Brinley Doyle proved to be the star player for the Junior Blues, after Harry Silsbury put Poole Town FC Youth ahead on thirteen minutes, Doyle then hit a tremendous shot from 25 yards to level the scores on 23 minutes. Two minutes later Doyle scored his second direct from a free kick, to win the tie for Portland.

Corfe Mullen United (Juniors) (2) v Poole Town FC Wessex (1)
(Marcus Flanagan, Owen Reynolds) (Oliver Roberts)
The Under 15 Old Boys Cup was won by Corfe Mullen United Juniors Marcus Flannagan gave Corfe Mullen an early lead in the First Half before Owen Reynolds evaded several defenders to double Corfe Mullen’s lead three minutes after the interval. Oliver Roberts hit a consolation for Poole Town FC Wessex with a few minutes remaining.

Dorset Under 11 Youth Cup Final
Poole Town FC Youth (Colts) (3) 3 v Wimborne & Holt (3) 4 AET
(Louie Dawson, Anthony George, Lucas Marsh) (Harrison Marsh, Aldo Bertorelli, Jasper Bowley, Sam Webb)
Goals from Harrison Marsh and Aldo Bertorelli put Wimborne & Holt two nil up at half time and the match looked all over three minutes after the resumption when Jasper Bowley made it three nil, however Poole Town FC Wessex showed great resilience with goals from Louie Dawson, Anthony George and Lucas Marsh to take the match to extra time. Sam Webb won the Trophy for Wimborne & Holt with a goal scored direct from a free kick in extra time.

Dorset Under 12 Youth Cup Final
Sturminster Marshall (2) 3 v Dorchester Town Youth (Raiders) (2) 4 AET
(William Rabjohns, Cole Edwards, Kieran Sheriff) (Lewis Toms 2, Toby Beresford 2)
Sturminster Marshall took an early lead after 3 minutes through William Rabjohns in a very evenly contested Under 12 Final. Lewis Toms then converted before half time to equalise for Dorchester Town Youth who then took the lead two minutes into the second half through Toby Beresford. Cole Edwards then equalised from a direct free kick to take the tie to extra time. Within seven minutes of Extra Time Dorchester Town Youth were four two up Lewis Toms and Toby Beresford both scoring their second of the match. Sturminster Marshall pulled a goal back through Kieran Sheriff to make it a nervous remaining six minutes for the young Magpies, who won a County Cup for the second consecutive season.

Dorset Under 14 Youth Cup Final
Poole Town FC Wessex (3) v Weymouth (4)
(Jack Langen 2, Frankie Castillo-MacPherson) (Finn Davies 3, Tommy Jeff)
Goals from Tommy Jeff and hat trick hero Finn Davies put the young Terras four goals up in a dominant first 33 minutes however a goal by Jack Langen four minutes after half time lifted the young Dolphins spirits who then added further goals from Langen again and Frankie Castillo-MacPherson to reduce the deficit to one goal and cause the Terras some very nervous moments in the final ten minutes.

Westland Sports (3) v Wimborne & Holt (9)
(Luke Mannley, Isaac Storey, OG) (Will Fletcher 3, Lucas James 2, Jack Greenslade 2,Michael Viera, Cameron Smith)
The Under 16 Final proved to be a feast of attacking Football, Wimborne and Holt taking a comfortable 4-0 lead at the break through two from Will Fletcher, Lucas James and Michael Viera, Isaac Storey then reduced the deficit converting from a spot kick a minute after half time, although Wimborne and Holt restored their four goal advantage a minute later, Westland Sports enjoying their best spell of the match scored two further goals to take the score to 3-6 with fifteen minutes remaining, however four further goals from Wimborne and Holt in the later stages of the game ended all hope of a Westlands comeback and a well deserved victory for the East Dorset club.
