Dorset Girls County Cup Finals Day 2018
The Dorset Girls Cup Final Day was held at the Blandford School on an extremely chilly day and under a cloud of sporadic snow showers.
Merley Cobham Sports won the Under 15 Cup beating a spirited Poole Town FC Wessex team to lift the Trophy. Redlands won both the Under 13 County Cup and the Under 11 County Cup, in the Under 13 Final; Olivia Conning scored the days only hat trick in their four goal win against Poole Town FC Wessex whilst in the Under 11 County Cup Redlands beat Poole Town Youth.
Swanage Town & Herston won the Under 15 Plate Final beating Verwood Girls by three goals to nil. Probably the most exciting game was in the Under 13 Plate Competition where Bournemouth Sports beat Dorchester Town Youth Girls by the odd goal in 13th minutes after the scores finished 5-5 after normal time.
In the Under 11 Plate Competition Longfleet Lionesses beat Merley Cobham Sports Youth.
