Facility Improvements and Funding

INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF FOOTBALL IN DORSET

Investing For The Future

From building a new facility to buying new goalposts, developing the game takes money.

Working in partnership with the Football Foundation, Sport England, Local Authorities and partner organisations, the Dorset County Football Association aims to shine a light on the funding opportunities and grants available to the football community in Dorset.

The Football Foundation is the charitable arm of The FA, The Premier League and Sport England and helps communities improve their local football facilities through football grants. The National Football Facilities Strategy (NFFS) sets out the Football Foundation’s ambition to transform England’s grassroots game over the next ten years. The Premier League, The FA and Government aim to deliver thousands of new pitches, while also investing in the improvement of existing grass pitches and off-pitch facilities across the country.

The Football Foundation provide small grants of up to £25,000 for goalposts, portable floodlights, storage containers, fencing, minor works to changing rooms & club house refurbishments to pitch maintenance and machinery.

So whether your looking for new goals posts, refurbish your existing changing facilities or enquiring about larger project work as part of the portfolio of priority projects listed within the Local Football Facility Plan contact Kath Purnell (Dorset FA Facility and Investment Lead) at Kathryn.Purnell@dorsetfa.com to find out more.
