Are there any pre-requisites for the coaching courses?

Each coaching course has its own specific pre-requisites (some are open entry) and these can be found on the FA Boot Room. It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they meet the pre-requisites before booking onto the chosen course. FA Boot Room

Do I need a Level 1/Introduction to Coaching Football certificate before I can book onto the Level 2/UEFA C Course?

Yes you do. The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football/Introduction to Coaching Football is the pre-requisite for the FA Level 2 in Coaching Football/UEFA C. In addition you are required to hold a valid FA Emergency Aid/Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) and an FA Safeguarding Children certificate.

How do I book onto a coaching course?

Please visit the FA's Boot Room for information on how to book. Courses will be made available from April 2021.
