Dorset Deaf Adult Football 

Dorset County FA is pleased to support deaf adult football within the county.

Dorset Deaf Adult Football is an inclusive group that can accommodate all abilities and barriers. The group is made up of the following:

  • British Sign Language
  • Hearing impairment
  • Deaf
  • Hard of Hearing
  • Cochlea implant
  • a hearing person who is a CODA ( Child of a Deaf Adult) or those who have family and have an awareness to communicate with the range of hearing impairments

Players are from around Dorset (The group currently has players from around Christchurch, Blandford, Bournemouth and Poole, although wherever you are in Dorset you will be made very welcome).

Dorset Deaf Adult Football get together on a Monday evening for a friendly game against each other and rotate the teams to have games of  7 v 7 or 5 v 5 (depending on who can attend). The group also have a WhatsApp group to communicate.

Dorset deaf football offers a great social environment, with lots of fun and laughs. It is an excellent way of keeping fit and playing football for those that enjoy the love of the game. Come and join the group today!

Session Details

Ages group: Sessions are for those aged 16 years + upward of any ability, male and female (players are not professional and just want to play)
When: Every Monday evening
Time: 8.30pm - 9.30pm (not Bank Holidays) 
Where:  Dorset County Football Association, The Specsavers County Ground, Blandford Close, Hamworthy, Poole, BH15 4BF (3G pitch)
Facilities: Games are played on the 3G pitch with access to toilet and changing room facilities (if required)
Cost: £4 a session or £12 for 4 sessions 
What to wear: Sporty outfit, football boots and shin pads
