The FA Referee course is the first step that any budding referee will need to take. The FA Basic Referee Course provides candidates with the basic knowledge required to referee football matches. The course addresses the balance between knowledge (theoretical) and the application (practical). It is focused on the candidates who demonstrate a willingness to affiliate 11v11 games.

The cost per candidate for The FA Referee Course is outlined below:

• Candidates aged between 14-16- £100
• Candidates aged 16+ £120

 Mini-Whistlers Course

This course has been designed for youngsters aged between 12 and 14, and is linked closely to the mini soccer Referee workshop. The course is intended to encourage these young mini whistlers to enjoy their first steps into officiating and then go on to complete the basic referee’s course.
