Women and Girls

Around the website you will find information for everyone about getting involved with football whether playing, volunteering, coaching, refereeing or watching the game. However, this page is a great starting point to find out more about specific women and girls football programmes running in and around Dorset.

Girls Football Weeks 2016

Dorset FA are proud to support The FA's national Girls Football Weeks. In April 22 clubs, schools and organisations across Dorset took part in the campaign to get more women & girls playing football. We will also be supporting The FA's Girls Football Week from 10th - 16th October which has a focus on football in education. We are keen to use this opportunity to link our girls clubs with their local schools to offer girls the opportunity to play the beautiful game. The FA have produced a number of resources that can help schools and clubs so please check out www.TheFA.com for more details. If you are a school or Charter Standard Club that are interested in developing girls football opportunities please get in touch for a chat - Justine.mosley@dorsetfa.com - 01202 688277.
