PITCH & GROUNDSMAN AWARENESS EVENING

Then join us for a Pitch & Groundsman Awareness Evening for information on improving your pitches, reducing compaction, funding, maintenance machinery demonstrations and packages and also your chance to ask the experts questions during our expert networking session.

Dorset County FA - Facilities Officer

Find out what funding is available to help you improve the quality of your pitches and user experience, refurbish/improve existing facilities, maintenance machinery, floodlighting, goalposts etc and how to apply.

Simon Johnson

IOG Regional Pitch Advisor

Simon is the South West Regional Pitch Advisor for the IOG. The County FA work with the Regional Pitch Advisor to deliver the Pitch Improvement Programme. Simon will be explaining how the Pitch Improvement Programme works and discussing end of season renovations.  



Nick Clarke

Hunt Forest - Turf Sales Director

We are please to welcome Nick from Hunt Forest of Ringwood who will provide you with expert advice on the best types of machinery to use to improve your pitch quality with practical demonstrations to show you the impact that using the right tools for the job can have. Also available will be information on a machinery package deal that will cover all your pitch care needs.

Rigby Taylor

Neil is the Regional Rep for Rigby Taylor the preferred grass seed supplier of the FA's Pitch Improvement Programme. Neil will be providing you with expert advice on the importance of choosing the best fertiliser and grass seed for your end of season renovations.



Simon Moore

Fleet Line Markers

Simon is the Area Sales Manager for Fleet Line Markers. For the last two years Fleet Line Markers have sponsored the Dorset FA Groundsman of the Year Awards. Simon will be discussing the types of paint that can be used to line mark your pitch to maximise coverage and longevity in addition to giving practical demonstrations of line marking equipment. Dorset FA affiliated clubs can also receive discounted prices on pitch paints from Fleet Line Markers.

Tom Nott         

Technical Surfaces

Tom is the Senior Technical Manager for Technical Surfaces who have recently signed a partnership agreement with Dorset County Football Association to deliver quality maintenance to 3G pitches across Dorset. The partnership will see Technical Surfaces offer a preferential 'Framework' pricing structure, on maintenance package to all Dorset FA affiliated sites. In addition to 3G pitch maintenance Technical Surfaces are also able to provide packages for the maintenance of permanent floodlights.
