Dorset County Football Association launch exciting Partnership with Specsavers

The Dorset County Football Association are pleased to announce a three-year partnership agreement with Specsavers.

The Partnership will see Specsavers supporting grassroots football in Dorset by becoming the headline sponsor of the County Ground in Hamworthy, which from 1st July 2018 will be renamed the Specsavers County Ground and for the Dorset Youth Cup which will be known as the Specsavers Dorset Youth Cup. The Youth Cup comprises 7 different age groups from Under 10 to under 16 years with teams represented from club across Dorset and concludes with the finals which will be held at the Specsavers County Ground in April/May..

The sponsorship deal will be celebrated by an official launch game at the Specsavers County Ground on Wednesday 25th July with a 7.30pm KO. Bringing the best in football together the Dorset FA will welcome Wimborne Town FC and Poole Town FC who will play for the Mark Frowde Trophy as part of their pre-season schedule.

 

Sue Hough Chief Executive of the Dorset County Football Association said,
