Dorset FA are pleased to confirm details of the Dorset qualifier for The FA Futsal Youth Cup!

This year the county competition is taking place at Lytchett Sports Centre on Saturday 21st April (Boys) and Sunday 22nd April (Girls) 2018. 

The game of Futsal is the only official format of indoor small sided football recognised and supported by both FIFA and UEFA. The game itself is 5-a-side, played on a hard, even surface played to lines on a court. The ball is weighted, aiding the skill level of play, and the goals are of a hockey size as opposed to 5-a-side goals.

The winners of the county competition will go on to compete at the South West regional event in May. Dorset have had teams progress through to the national finals in previous years so there is a real opportunity for teams to make it all the way to the national competition representing Dorset!

This year the county round is being delivered by C.A.S.A, a Dorset FA partner, for Under 10, 12, 14 and 16 boys and girls.
