FA Licensed Coaches Club As part of The FA’s commitment to supporting coaches (at all levels of the game), to enable continuous learning and ensure it is accessible to everyone, membership to The FA Licensed Coaches’ Club is now being offered for FREE via www.thefa.com/licensedcoachesclub.

Licensed Coaches must meet the following criteria:
• Hold a recognised and valid English/ UEFA coaching qualification
• Have an FA enhanced CRB/DBS check (Youth coaches only)
• Commit to a minimum level of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) every year
• Retain in-date Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid certificates

Martin Dighton (FA Regional Coach Development Manager 5-11), will provide a session l
ooking at different types of practices and where they are best used. The session will also incorporate the trade-off between different types of practices, progressions based on meeting the needs of the players, and ensuring game craft through the sessions. Players taking part in the session will be from Dorset County FA; Boys Player Development Centre.

6.30pm – 9.30pm
Hours Accredited: 3 hours
Level: 2 & 3
Regional Coach Development Manager, Tony McCallum will deliver a session including theory and practical content around attacking and defending set plays, to include: set piece routines, attacking strategies, defending strategies, strengths and weaknesses of zonal v man:man marking.
