What is the Dorset FA Club Development Fund?
Dorset FA is pleased to confirm details of our Club Development Fund which aims to assist clubs to maintain existing or establish new teams within their club. Dorset FA strives to work with our clubs to retain teams and develop new teams which the Club Development Fund is in place to support.
Who Can Apply for Club Development Funding?
The funding is available to Community, Development, Youth and Adult Charter Standard Clubs or those working towards it within 12 months. Priority will be given to clubs focussing on:
- Under 14 - Under 18 youth team development
- Adult (16+) 11 a side team development
- Disability team development
- Girls team development
What will the Club Development Fund fund?
We can fund activity that will provide new footballing opportunities to recruit new players to either retain or develop a new team. Funding may be used for:
- Coach development
- One off venue hire (e.g. for a festival event)
- Referee development
- Coach costs for school delivery
- Promotional material
What is not eligible for funding?
- Ongoing venue/pitch costs
- Referee fees
- Cautions, suspensions, fines
- Club debt
- Facility development
- Travel or transport

Applications are through a short survey which must include details of your Club Secretary - Club Development Fund Application.
