In order to bring this Vision to life the Association has developed a four year strategy which underpins The Football Association’s National Game Strategy. Within the plan we aim to provide everyone the opportunity to take part in football, this may be as a player, referee, coach, administrator or one of the many volunteers without whom the game would not exist.
Our County Plan incorporates four key goals:
- Growth and Retention
- Raising Standards
- Developing Better Players
- Running the Game Effectively
The goals are brought to life by three key enablers:
- A Skilled Workforce
- Marketing and Communications
- Facility Investment
In order to deliver the County Plan we need to work together with key partners such as The Football Association, Local Authorities, The Football Foundation, County Sports Partnerships and our Clubs and Leagues.
The Association has both an Employed Workforce and a Elected Council, who are mainly Volunteers, which is led by a Board of Directors: the Association became a Company Limited by Guarantee in 1999.
