Introduction into the new Level 2 Award - Tuesday 12 August 2008 (6.30pm - 9.30pm) @ Milborne Sports FC
The Workshop will be led by Alan Gillett (Regional Coach Development Manager) and will offer an outline into the newly accredited Level 2 Award. Whether you are looking to take this in the future, or have completed the Level 2 previously, the evening will offer a valuable knowledge base to link sessions from technique to skill, to small sided games.
Principles of Play - Sunday 17 August 2008 (1pm - 4pm) @ Canford School
The day will focus on the principles of play; attack and defence, the basis for any coaching session; and offer a few ideas to use at your Clubs. The session will be led by Steve Cuss, Lead tutor (L1CCF), Head of AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust and Coach of Poole Town FC.
Goalkeeping Coaching - Wednesday 20 August 2008 (10am - 4pm) @ Canford School
In conjunction with 'Between the Sticks' goalkeeper coaching; we are able to offer our members the opportunity to go along and aid the experienced staff in delivering goalkeeper sessions for the day. On the day, the workforce will be joined by none other than Peter Shilton (England's most capped player and goalkeeping legend). Leadership in Football - Thursday 9 October 2008 (6.30pm - 9.30pm) @ DCFA
The workshop will be delivered by Richard Nugent from Success in Football. It will be an interactive workshop aimed at Clubs, organisations and coaches. By applying the learnign from the workshop you will:
-Develop the four key characteristics that people want
-Explore aspects of your leadership style
-Use tools and techniques to get more buy in and understanding from players at all levels
-Clarify your own coaching ethos
