Football is an inclusive game and we here at Dorset Couty FA are committed to demonstrating that we are an inclusive organisation to ensure that our National Game remains as such. As a result we are currently in the process of working towards achieving the Foundation Level of the National Equality Standard for Sport accreditation and aim to be leaders in the South West for equality.
Over the coming months and years we will be working to demonstrate three key areas within this field:
- Dorset FA are committed to equality
- Dorset FA has a policy for equality that has been communicated and is understood by its staff and key volunteers
- Dorset FA is aware of its current profile and position in terms of equality
In order to acheive our aims it will take a lot of hard work, and we will look for support from our partners for a number of aspects, however are sure that all will support this valuable process to develop our national game further within Dorset.
