Wimborne Town FC hosted an in-service event on Wednesday 20th May 2009.
The workshop, held at Cuthbury was led by Alan Gillett (FA Regional Coach Development Manager) who led coaches through the advantages and disadvantages of utilising different systems of play.
Participating in the practices were players from Wimborne Town’s newly formed Under 18 side; who performed well during a demanding and intense training session.
The 32 coaches from the Coaches Association and Dorset Charter Standard Clubs in attendance, took due note of tactical differences highlighted by Alan and how to get the best from players in each system.
