FA Girls Player Development Centre

The Girls Player Development Centre is a new addition to the Female Talent Pathway in England and aims to provide girls extra training and support on top of their grassroots club football. The Centre is Licensed by the FA and is one of 28 around the Country.

The Football Association determines the criteria regarding the standards of organisation, facilities and personnel. These strict criteria must be met prior to a Centre being awarded a Licence to operate. The Football Association monitor the Centres by way of visits and consultations, to ensure that the Centres standards are continually met and surpassed.

The centre draws on the skills and experience of a variety of people, the coaching, medical, welfare and administrative staff. It is not only committed to the development of the players, but to the development of its staff, to ensure that players are given the best opportunity, in the right environment to have fun, learn and develop and achieve the best you can be.

It is a considerable achievement to be selected for an FA Player Development Centre and we look forward to working with parents /guardians and most importantly the players to help them realise their full potential within the game.

Open trials for the 2012/13 season will be held in September.  Information about how to register for a trial will be put on our website in June.
