FA Safeguarding Children Workshop

The Football Association recognises that every child and young person who plays football should be able to participate in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse of any kind. Every adult who volunteers their time to football should be aware of “the correct practice” when working with children and young people, not only for the benefit of the child or young person, but also to protect “yourself”.

As a coach, manager or volunteer – “Are you aware of the consequences of poor practice?” As a parent – “Has your child’s club/coach attended this Course?”

The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop is a three-hour workshop designed to share correct practice, and offer you the opportunity to implement policies and procedures that will benefit every member of your Club. These Workshops are available to Clubs and individuals throughout the year. Can your club afford not to take this knowledge seriously?

Duration of Course: 3 Hours
Minimum Age: 16 Years
Cost of Course: £20
