FA Emergency Aid Workshops

The Football Association considers it important that each club should have officials trained to deal with first aid and the treatment of injuries. It is strongly recommended that each club has a person in attendance at every game that holds at least the Emergency Aid qualification.

Duration of Course: 3 Hours
Minimum Age: 16 Years
Cost of Course: £15

This is a three hour Course which offers basic advice on how to preserve life, limit the effects of an injury and promote recovery. Topics covered include mouth to mouth resuscitation, heart-lung resuscitation, control of bleeding, dressing of wounds, minimising shock, dealing with choking and heart attacks.
The Emergency Aid Course is a module in all coaching qualifications but separate Courses can also be arranged.
If your club has from 8 – 12 interested people, then a Course can be organised specifically for you.

Upon successful completion of the Course you will receive a Football Association Emergency Aid Certificate; this is valid for three years.
Please note, all Workshops are from 6.30pm - 9.30pm
