The Charter Standard League Programme assesses the ability of leagues to provide a high quality, safe and enjoyable football experience against a standard set of criteria.
By achieving Charter Standard League status, a League will:
- Gain recognition that it is committed to providing a quality experience
- Gain recognition as a well run League
- Have procedures in place to improve standards
- Demonstrate a commitment to investing in its workforce
- Have a clear Development Plan in place
- Have an agreed support package with the County FA
