All participants were welcomed to the Club with a bacon bap and coffee, prior to their 18 holes of golf. At the conclusion of their round, teams could take part in a putting competition, which was then proceeded by a buffet back in the Club.
The presentation ceremony followed, with the following awards being distributed:
-Winning Stableford team - Weymouth FC Youth (99 points)
-2nd Place Stableford – Charlton Inn
-Individual best Stableford score - J Barkess (Charlton Inn)
-Nearest the pin on the 18th - B Humphries (Charlton Inn)
-Nearest the pin in two on the 11th - S Amos (Cons 1)
-Cash prizes for any person scoring 2 on a Par 3 -
G Reeves(Tommys Titans) & F Evans (Cons 2)
-Cash prize for the winning Putting team - Cons Two
A raffle and auction of signed shirts followed, which was greatly received by all those attending; again adding additional funds to Charity.
Our congratulations go to all the winners, but in particular Captain Mark Rogers and his winning Stableford Team from Weymouth FC Youth, whose chosen charity (DCH - Special Care Baby Unit) will benefit greatly from the over £1k raised!
